Today was one of those typical spring Steelhead Alley experiences. It seems mother nature couldn't decide where to leave the thermostat set? Pretty much through out the entire day the temps went from hot to cold, high to low, and back and forth never staying constant. We had to cover a lot of water to find good players today, but fortunately we did find them.
Today Jim Larson was in town from Wisconsin to fish for Steelhead with his son James. They had to work hard today but were able to land some real nice fish. James was a trooper landing several nice fish under some tough conditions and river obstacles. Jim was able to land his first fly rod Steelhead today as well. Jim and James we had a great time fishing with you and congrats on your success. Hot flies were assorted egg patterns today. We will be back at it again tomorrow, so we will keep you updated. Here are a few of today's pictures.
