Good to be back in Patagonia Chile!

One week down, with two weeks to go here at Picacho Lodge, Chile. The fishing was pretty good despite it was rainy, wet, and cold weather nearly our entire week. All our guests caught plenty of beautiful trout, and Christian, Claudio, and Martin worked extremely hard to make our stay at the lodge very comfortable and our fishing memorable. We have two more weeks of clients on the way, I will try to get a blog up every once in awhile when I can. It's kind of hard to get away from fishing right now... Here's is just a few photos from the week, I hope you enjoy them!

An angler stripping a few streamers at the "Rock Bridge"

An Upstream view of "Rock bridge" Rio Picacho, Chile.

Patagonian Kingfisher

Swinging streamers for trout on the Rio Picacho.

Bobby with an "EXTREMELY RARE" Rio Picacho Atlantic Salmon!

Take a look at the "x" spots and color, This Atlantic Salmon been in the river for a few weeks.

Fighting a large brown on Lago Copa.

Our guide Claudio with Bobby's Brown Trout from the picture above.

I'm stalking a large brownie on an un-named outlet of a Lago.

Got Him! I love educating a selective feeding trout! This fish was eating size 18 grey stoneflies, it's nice to see it all come together.

Here he is! He was pretty pissed when that stonefly decided to bite back!

Tough casting on some of the water here, but well worth the effort.

A fat brown from Logo Roosevelt.

Patagonian sunset.......what a fine way to end the day.

Our guide Martin preparing a traditional Chilean asado on the shore of the Lago Roosevelt at and old Gaucho camp.

I will update you when I can, so until the next time.... Rock On!
