Steelhead Alley Outfitters Update

Eric Hooked up on Steelhead Alley!

What can I say? Its been another great start to the week here on the Alley. Water conditions are very low and clear as of right now, but we are getting a mix of precipitation moving through the region. Hopefully we get some rain were we need it. Tactics so far this week have been resorting to light tippets and very small flies. Early in the mornings and the last hours of day light have brought good fish to the net, by stripping small streamers, sculpins, and buggers.

Right now the persistent and patient angler is finding success. Changing flies frequently has also helped keep the bite going.. Hot Flies were #14 Burnt Orange decaying eggs, white eggs, #14 Senyo's wiggle stones, #14 BH hares ears and Pheasant tails, #8 olive streamers and buggers.

We will continue the fly fishing tradition of professionalism and excellence while Guiding Ohio, PA, and NY for steelhead and Salmon, and hosting desirable destination trips across the U.S.A. Many new and exciting announcements to come this fall from SAO!!!
